Hi, I am new to this site and I’m trying to find my way around in here. Is there a blog/forum for new artists to aquire ‘HELP’ from our artists in their particular medium.
I have recently started using pastels (pencils) and I’m muddling on, on my own, not sure how to solve problems. Would like to hear from other pastel artists if there are any out there.
Hi All, Graeme, thanks for a brilliant site and YouTube channel. Your videos have really inspired me. I am from Ireland and am a disABLED artist who is just returning to my art after over 25 years away from it. I know you focus on very very talented artists ‘down under’ but I am just returning to art having left it to peruse other career choices but am returning to it having become disABLED following a number of accidents and extensive surgery. I emphasise dis’ABLED’ as I never let my paralysis, epilepsy and a number of other chronic conditions stand in the way of me setting and achieving my goals. Do please feel free to visit my new website called ‘Ability2.org’ which I am in the process of constructing at present. May I put a hyperlink to your site on my site? I would be very grateful if you could email me if you get the chance in the near future as I’d be honoured to be in contact with you in person?
I look forward to watching all of your YouTube videos as a brilliant source of inspiration and hopefully to seeing (maybe via Skype) or simply via email in the near future. I do realise that you are mega busy and understand if you can’t so no worries if this isn’t possible.
Dear all, especially shop girl and Mark,
congratulations Mark on your initiative in establishing a web site – I wish you every success.
I am a pastel artist (among other mediums) and would be happy to answer any particular queries you raise. I am a Master Pastellist with the Pastel Society of Australia and recorded an episode with Graeme.
I do not get a chance to look this site up too often, but am hoping I receive an email alert if you write back. http://www.triciareust.com
I hope you continue with your pastels,
