Where Are They Now? Graeme Stevenson chats with Colour In Your Life Artist Ashley Hay.

Capturing a sense of ‘story’ and ‘place’ is the essence of Ashley’s work. She approaches her imagery with a spiritual ethos composed in a contemporary expressionist style. Much of her work is an intuitive response to her surroundings and it’s her hope that the viewer connects with her story as they engage, relate to and are impacted by the imagery.

As well as maintaining her own art practice, Ashley is the Australian Importer for Powertex and a proud sponsor of the Wearable Art Mandurah Competition. She loves inspiring others to create and runs regular art workshops from her studio in Safety Bay.

Ashley has recently launched Ashley Hay Art Academy and is proud to mentor and coach other creatives in their pursuit of financial security within their own arts practises.
