Vale: Gayle Garner Roski
It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of another of our great CIYL artists. Gayle Garner Roski passed away on Wednesday the 21st at her home in Los Angeles from ALS.
Gayle was a huge supporter of the Arts and donated millions of dollars of her own money to support artists and the art community.
It was an absolute privilege to have spent time with her in her studio and her extraordinarily beautiful home in LA.
She was a true adventurer of life. She told me of the time she went down in a submersible to see the Titanic, 12,000 feet under the water, some of her other adventures literally put her in the realm of Indiana Jones, amazing life and an amazing human being.
You will be missed Gayle and thank you so much for doing what you did for others in life, Graeme xxxx
