“Splish Splash”, was juried into the 2017 Birds in Art Exhibition at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum and recently juried into the Best of Watercolor Splash 20 publication available in 2019.

Ok seriously, this picture looks like it could have been a photography. I'm always so in awe of people who are doing real-to-life painting. There is just so much effort put into getting all the colour contrasts just right to reflect the shadows and all of that! I mean, the colour and the strokes of the brush all make a difference to how the final painting will turn out. It's a world away and different from photography.
