Colour In Your Life DVD Set 31 – Oil

Disc 1

Craig Primrose
Born in Auckland New Zealand in 1956, Craig is one of New Zealand’s leading contemporary artists, known throughout the world for his skillful portraiture, sporting imagery and stunning landscapes.
His skill in portraiture has led him to being commissioned to paint Sir Edmund Hillary, in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the first ascent of Mt Everest in 1953 and subsequently was appointed as Sir Edmund’s preferred artist.

Janet Knight Ep2
Janet is an established Melbourne based professional artist with works secured by international and Australian collectors. With painting experience of over 25 years, Janet graduated from Ballarat University with a Diploma of Art, majoring in graphic design. Janet’s current works are an indication of her dedication to her passion and her field. Her landscapes are a combination of a connection with nature, while Janet’s unique personal application suggests a surreal twist in the final product. Figurative studies and portraits are an additional love with the expectation that a painting should be felt as well as viewed and appreciated.

Disc 2

Anne Marie Graham
Arriving in Melbourne in September, 1938, Anne Marie’s mother encouraged her to skip school to attend art classes, as she didn’t yet speak English. She booked her into the RMIT Art School at the early age of fourteen. The headmaster, Mrs. H. Brown, saw her work and accepted her as the youngest student ever enrolled to the school. Anne Marie is now ninety years young, working in her studio at the Royal Freemasons in Melbourne and painting for her next exhibition. At the completion of renovations at the Royal Freemasons in 2015, many of Anne Marie’s works will be hung throughout the new wing.

Richard Stergulz
Richard is an Illinois native who by the age of eight knew he wanted to be an artist. He graduated from the American Academy of Art in Chicago in 1983 which began his successful commercial art career. After 12 years of doing commercial art, Richard felt it was time to fine tune his fine art style.
