Our Worlds Collide

'Our Worlds Collide' is the first in a series of semi abstract paintings this is by far the most colourful and abstract! Using shape, tone and colour with pattern to maximum effect this was way out of my comfort zone. However it has led me on to do work that is a new style that I can relate to and develop. The title can have several meanings as the horse is in fact a unicorn - which is a metaphor for how my work has gone from realism to one where the imagination has only the limits that I put on it! Alison how stunning each piece is. You must have spent hours and hours honing your craft and finding your own unique style. You definitely have an eye for detail and colour that is just superb. There is such movement in your work my eye* just keeps being drawn to away to different areas. Congratulations for such dynamic work, I don't think I would ever tire of looking at them.

* (sorry I keep saying 'eye" singular because I only have partial vision in one eye!)
I simply love the stunning colour combination that seams together effortlessly. Though the colours used are so vibrant, I can see that they still blend well without making the abstract awkward in any way.
