About Me

I was born in Rhodesia/Zimbabwe, Africa but now reside in Dunsborough, Western Australia in a small rural town. We are surrounded by magnificent coastline, vineyards, wineries, chocolate factories and world class galleries and restaurants. We are also blessed with an abundant variety of birds that visit our garden regularly.

After a twenty five year career teaching classical ballet I was eventually in a situation where I could pursue my other passion, art.

I have been involved for many years in wildlife conservation with particular interest in endangered species. I hope as an Artist for Conservation to draw attention to the fragility of our wildlife and the environment through my art by creating an interest and dialogue with the viewer.

I work predominantly in oils, acrylics. After researching my subject I enjoy the creative journey while developing an internal dialogue with my subject.

I am happiest when surrounded by nature taking the time to observe and reflect on life, which stimulates and nourishes the senses. A perfect combination to get the creative juices flowing.
