#MAT18 is situated in Graeme’s hometown of Murwillumbah, Northern New South Wales Australia, a region that boasts the highest amount of artists per capita in the state outside of the capital city and one that experienced its worst flood in history April 2017.
A region-wide arts festival that celebrates contemporary art, artists and galleries through a rich and diverse program, #MAT18 will transform the beautiful town of Murwillumbah into an exciting art space. Between May 18 and 27 2018 #MAT18 invites residents and visitors to explore our culture through art.
You are invited to join us and follow a walking trail through the Murwillumbah CBD viewing over 100 artists in pop-up shops and galleries, murals, and happen upon sculptures, ephemeral artworks, and playful surprises.
