My name is Caryl and I live smack in the middle of the USA, on the edge of the wide open Prairielands of Nebraska. I’m a meteorologist and manage professional photography and watercolour on the side for my sanity. I spend the rest of my time herding a high school senior and raising and chasing chickens. I enjoy working outside and my summer is spent working in the field, garden, and am always working in the kitchen, either cooking or canning.
My wet medium of choice is watercolour and have been at that actively since 2008 and sell on FineArtAmerica.com . I also, sadly, have an addiction to fountain pens, and have just recently cleaned my stash and limited myself to 8. Although I am eyeballing #9.
I also make hand sewn watercolor journals and sketching journals, either in leather or using upcycled old book covers.
It’s nice meeting all of you and now I am off to read the forum.
