If you would like to enter some competitions I would suggest you look in magazines. Many art magazines have a section at the back or hold their own. That’s how I first started entering. Joining any local art groups is another good way to hear about what happening. I have also noticed a number of social media style groups pop up for local art groups where they display any events.
For starting out selling I would suggest you just start a Facebook page for your art. Its free and easy to manage.
As far as prints I have had all sorts of printing done. I would suggest you google what is local to you and go have a chat. Local is usually a good way to start although there are plenty of online printing places these days. Just make sure they have a good reputation.
