Colour in Your Life hits America!!

Hi fans,

what an amazing trip Graeme and Sophia had in America recently. They managed to avoid all the natural disasters that have sadly has affected so many millions of Americans. We send our thoughts to you and hope the recovery

both emotionally and physically be swift and easy.

 

Murwillumbah and Uki, our home towns were recently affected by the biggest flood in our history so we can truly empathise with the effects this will have on the American people. It’s like the world around you gets picked up,  shaken up and then thrown back down again …and we are just tiny ants scurrying to save our homes.

 Help for hurricane affected artists in America

Eric Rhoads from  Stream Line Publishing and  one of the artists recently filmed in America has set up an interesting campaign to assist affected artists and galleries.

PleinAir and Fine Art Connoisseur magazine has set up a temporary website for artists, galleries, museums, and auction houses to register and tell their stories about Hurricane Harvey.  In addition, we’re offering them a chance to participate in a free ad spread that we hope will get spaces reopened and collectors buying.

Graeme and Sophia decided to film in America in July /August…the hottest time of the year

and they were feeling it!!  In spite of that, they returned with loads of stories about how wonderful and inspiring these artists were.

 

The recent trip was to California, Arizona and Texas in America where they filmed artists such as Eric Rhoads, Nancy Christy Moore, Gayle Garner Roski, Peggy Pettigrew Stewart and Carrie Ann Therese.
