Colour In Your Life heads to New Zealand

Hi Fans,
A little late but just back from New Zealand.
I thought I would slip this video blog in quickly, although it is a little late, as Graeme is almost returning from New Zealand now and so the continuity will be a little askew.
Colour In Your Life goes to New Zealand
Preparing to go to New Zealand was exciting, not only for Graeme but also myself as I was heading over too. Collecting all the images from the artists, deciding on the itinery and booking the vehicles and hoping the weather would be on our side.
I was fortunate enough to work remotely in New Zealand whilst we were travelling the countryside in our campervan. On an average day, I would paint whilst my partner, Bruce, cooked me breakfast. I have been learning how to paint for about twenty years but I cannot satisfy my hunger or give the time it needs… practice, practice, practice! And there were so many stunning spots to paint.

Then I would work
After breakfast, we’d get on the road and I would work for several hours on my laptop, whilst watching the stunning scenery with my partner driving. We’d arrive at our destination and go for a hike or “tramp ” as they call it in New Zealand and connect with the land and experience and astounding beauty of South New Zealand. If it is not on your bucket list yet it certainly should be.
On the set
On my last day, I was fortunate to catch up with Graeme and Sophia on their second day of filming. Whilst they filmed Sue Currie, I got to see all the behind the scenes stuff that goes on, the artistic set that Sophia creates, the mentoring and artist business advice Graeme shares, and the making of a nurturing and comfortable space for the artist relax and paint. It was fabulous fun. I look forward to sharing more with you when Graeme returns. I hope you enjoy my pictures.
