Acrylic Seascape Techniques with Jules Sharman
Jules is an artist working from her Australian gallery and work studio ‘Jules Sharman Art’ in Tasmania. Jules thrives on creating original seascape and landscape paintings in oil and acrylic mediums. She began painting well over 35 years ago and spent several years in her early twenties living overseas and travelling with camera in hand collecting an inspiring repertoire of scenes to paint.
Jules loves representing realism on canvas, making the viewer feel like ‘they’re there’ – becoming caught up in the moment of tranquility and amazement. There’s an art within itself really – to paint hyper-realistically yet remain unique.
Following a childhood dream of being an artist and business woman is something Jules is proud of – as many believe ‘it is only a dream’ or art should be left as a ‘hobby’. As a gallery owner, artist, and business woman on a few fronts Jules is here to say “where there’s a will there’s a way!”
The only limitations we have are those we impose on ourselves and Jules thrives on knowing that.
Jules sells originals on stretched canvas, limited edition canvas prints, resin pours, resin sealed original paintings, cards and more – she also facilitates painting classes and workshops for all ages from my gallery and online.
